I've always enjoyed watching survival programmes and anything to do with camping. There's something about getting away from modern life and relying on your own skills that really appeals to me.
One day, I'd love to explore the wilderness all over the world and see if I could survive in some of the most remote places on Earth.
The only problem is... money has always been a bit of a hurdle, and if I'm honest, I don't know anywhere near enough about survival just yet.
That's exactly why I'm starting close to home. My plan is to explore my home county of Kent, learning new skills as I go and gradually building my confidence before taking on bigger adventures.
